Since 2006, ECORYS-NEI has been implementing the EU project EU Study Weeks in Russia, aimed at raising awareness among Russian students of various relevant fields about the latest development in the European Union, EU-Russia relations and perspectives for the future.

Among its results is the projectwebsite representing a forum for continuous discussions of the EU policies and EU-Russia relations. The website presents information on the project history, on current opportunities for students to take part in regular seminars organised under the project, on graduates of EU Study Weeks training events, their success stories and views.

 

Several times a year interested Russian students from universities of a selected region are invited via the website to apply for participation in a seminar. Most knowledgeable and creative of them then meet for a week or a week-end in one of Russia’s regional cultural centres to receive up-to-date information from lead experts from Russia and European countries, to discuss it, to share own views.

 

Under the project, ECORYS-NEI has successfully organised around forty seminars. Due to the efforts made by the EC Delegation to Russia and its Contractors (including ECORYS) the project has become mature and recognisable among the Russian academic circles.
