Since ECORYS-NEI establishment in 2006, it provides regular advice to Russia’s education authorities. Recently, it has completed three big (one- to three-year) projects for Russia’s Ministry of Education and Science: Development and testing of proposals on enhancing the efficiency of public spending in education under performance-based budgeting, Introduction of modern financial management in federal

authorities and organizations of professional education, and Development, testing and introduction of methods and IT for calculation of normatives for financing state order for professional education organizations.

 

Currently it implements a project for the National Training Foundation Analysis of participation of professional education organizations in training of potentially unemployed under programs adequate to needs of economy’s development and labor market during post-crisis period, development and dissemination of models of regional system of training of potentially unemployed.

 

All the projects mentioned above were implemented in close cooperation with Russia’s regional universities and education and employment authorities.

 

On the international level, ECORYS-NEI is known for its valuable contribution to the European Commission’s initiative EU Study Weeks in Russia, and regular participation in evaluations of international educational projects and programmes, including TEMPUS.
